What We Do for Newark Community Parks

Since 2008, United Parks As One has worked in partnership with local leaders and community volunteers to restore, reimagine, and reenergize United Parks As One transforms Newark Community Parks into spaces that support local stewardship, youth engagement, and community wellness programs.. Through on-the-ground events, community meetings, capacity-building, and leadership development, we help park groups grow and become advocates for safer, more welcoming green spaces.

Why Newark Community Parks Matter

Newark community parks are more than green spaces. They are places where neighbors gather, children play, families connect, and local leaders build stronger communities. United Parks As One helps support these spaces through resident-led programs, community events, volunteer opportunities, and partnerships that respond to neighborhood needs.By investing in Newark community parks, we help create safer, more welcoming places that encourage wellness, stewardship, and long-term community pride.
