National Night Out Newark

A United Parks As One Community Celebration

Connecting Newark Neighbors and Public Safety Through National Night Out

Held every first Tuesday in August, National Night Out strengthens trust between Newark residents and the public safety officers who serve them.

Our Newark Tradition

United Parks As One was among the first community groups in Newark to host a National Night Out celebration. What started as a single neighborhood event has grown into three annual gatherings across the city:

  • Jesse Allen Park

  • Mildred Helms Park

  • Nat Turner Park

Each location offers its own unique experience, but all share the same goal: to create safe, welcoming, and joyful spaces where residents and public safety partners can connect.
