There’s always something happening in our parks. Join us at an upcoming event to connect, learn, and enjoy time with your community. We’d love to see you there.

Monthly Community Meeting

We invite neighbors, families, and community members to join us each month as we come together to plan activities, share ideas, and support our local parks. These meetings are open, welcoming, and focused on strengthening our neighborhoods through collaboration and care.

Community Moments

Explore highlights from past United Parks as One events — capturing the people, partnerships, and moments that make our work possible.

National Night Out

Every August, National Night Out transforms Newark’s parks into vibrant hubs of music, laughter, and shared purpose. This annual event is more than a celebration — it’s a powerful movement toward stronger, safer, and more connected neighborhoods.

Heath & Resources Fair

On October 18, 2025, community members gathered at Mildred Helms Park for a vibrant day of connection, wellness, and family-friendly activities.

The Health & Resources Fair brought together local partners, residents, and youth for an afternoon filled with information, engagement, and joy in the heart of Newark.
