Key partners included the City of Newark, Newark Public Schools, the State of New Jersey, Essex County, The Friends of Jesse Allen Park, the Boys & Girls Club of Newark, the Springfield/Belmont Super Neighborhood Council, and other local organizations.
Completed over three phases, the renovation transformed the park into a modern, accessible, and community-centered space. A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the park’s reopening, celebrating the collective effort behind its renewal and long-term stewardship.
